How it works

Runs on your server
The engine calls Last.fm from your route, so your key never reaches the browser.
Feels live
Last.fm's now-playing flag comes first. If the scrobble already landed, its timestamp and the track length tell whether it's still playing.
Bring a scrobbler
It's as live as Last.fm. Spotify sends "now playing" on its own; Apple Music needs a scrobbler app.
Run your own
Install it, add a route with your Last.fm key, then put any design on top.
